Flammkuchen

Nice to eat with more people in informal way, you don't necessarily all need a plate, just serve it on a cutting board.

Quantity

4 flammkuchen, 4-6 people

Ingredients

Dough

2 tsp salt

2 tbsp sunflower oil

250 ml water

500-600 grams flour

extra flour against sticking

Topping

1 bell pepper (225 gram)

4 big chestnut mushroom (170 gram)*

1 zucchini (315 gram)*

2 small red onions (130 gram)*

400 gram crème fraiche

2 tsp black pepper

250 gram goat cheese*

1 cup walnut

4 tsp rosamary

4 tbsp honey

parsley (optional)

*you can actually add what you want

Preparation

Heat up oven at 230°C. Disolve the salt in the water, add the sunflower oil. Add flour with a sieve bit by bit, until the dough is not sticky anymore. Seperate it in 4 peaces.

Chop the red onion in small peaces, cut chestnut mushroom, bell peper and zucchini in thin peaces.

Roll one part of the dough until a thin layer, use some flour agains sticking, move it on time to baking paper. With a fork make some holes in de dough, so air in dough can get out. Put 100 gram of crème fraiche on the dough and spread it out over dough with a knife. Add the black pepper to it and fill it with the bell peper, zucchini, red onion and chestnut mushroom break the goat cheese above it.

Place the filled dough in the oven for 15-20 minutes.

When its out of oven add 1/4 cup of chopped walnuts, 1 tsp of rosamary, and 1 tbsp of honey, sprinkel some parsley over it. Cut in big peaces.
