Salata

It's a simple salad, I think its really nice salad to have next to some spicy or sweet food.

Quantity

6 servings

Ingredients

600 grams tomato

500 grams cucumber

20-25 grams mint leaves (fresh)

80 grams red onion

2 tsp salt

80 mL limejuice (2-3 limes)

3 tsp sumac

 

Preparation

Peel half of the cucumber, there can still be some dark green parts. Cut the tomato, cucumber, and red onion in small pieces. Mix the tree them together. Wash the mint, roll them up and slice them thinly, cut them again in a angel so you don't have strips of mint. Add the mint, salt, lime juice and sumac through the rest of the ingredients.

Make everything small enough that one spoon/bite will have all the ingredients in it.

You can add cilantro to the salata.
